Mission

The Indiana County Farmers’ Market is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is committed to improving our community’s access to healthy and affordable local foods. As a board- and volunteer-run organization, we work to organize and promote a weekly farmers’ market June through October.

Our Initiatives

  • SNAP Match: The Indiana County Farmers’ Market matches Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program / EBT benefits with free tokens so shoppers can bring home more food. We believe that everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy goods.
  • Marketing: We love our farmers and believe our community wouldn’t be the same without them. Promoting the farmers markets helps improve the sales of our area farmers, all while bringing access to local food to Indiana.
  • Community: The Market is a space to connect with neighbors, community organizations, and food producers. It’s a place to learn about where your food comes from and how to prepare it. The Market invites area organizations to pop-up at the market for special events and outreach.
