Did you know that INDIGO can take you to our Saturday Farmers’ Market, located at S. 8th and Church Streets? The Route 1 bus stops at North 8th and Philadelphia Street hourly, Monday through Saturday, 6am until 9pm. That’s just one block away from a perfect Saturday morning. The bus is an ideal way to get to the Saturday farmers’ market!
To Ride the Bus
To ride the bus, access the schedules at Indigobus.com. There’s also a Schedule Cheat Sheet, information on how to read a schedule, fares and more! You can pay the driver for a one-time trip; purchase a day pass or monthly pass at the Indiana Mall Customer Service Center; or purchase passes through the Token Transit app by downloading it onto your phone.
Special Programs
In addition to fixed route buses, INDIGO offers Shared Ride services for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities. Sign up for your senior pass or apply for ADA or Persons with Disabilities at the Indiana Mall Customer Service Center, Monday – Friday 9am – 2pm. Shared Ride can be used for medical appointments, grocery shopping, hair appointments, banking – almost anything! Shared Rides operate Monday through Friday. Wednesday Evening Market Bus Access:
Our Wednesday market takes place from 3:30-6pm in Mack Park. Although there is not a designated bus stop at the park, you may use Route 3 or Route 6 to access the park. You may pull the cord to be let off the bus at a location other than a designated bus stop if the driver believes it is safe to do so.
