Donate Fresh Food with Ease:
- Come to the Indiana County Farmers’ Market on September 30th, 2023
- Purchase goods from local farmers
- Drop them off at the donation table hosted by IUP’s Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics (SAND)…. they’ll handle it from there!
SAND will be accepting donations of any fresh foods you would like to donate–such as fresh vegetables, frozen meats, and baked goods–and bringing them to the IUP Food Pantry and Help Center where students can access the items.
This is a great opportunity get fresh items into a food pantry that supports important members of our community: college students. 1 in 3 college students experience food insecurity which is an obvious detriment to health, and can negatively affect one of the most fundamental times in a college student’s life. Let’s show them our support!
