Thanks to the generosity of The Food Trust, the Indiana County Farmers’ Market is now matching SNAP / EBT dollar-for-dollar up to $50 per market visit!
Shoppers utilizing SNAP to purchase food should stop by the Info Booth at the market to participate in SNAP Match. It’s simple!
- Visit the Farmers’ Market Info Booth 9AM – 12PM on a Saturday
- Choose how much you want to spend in SNAP at the market
- Receive wooden tokens in the amount of SNAP you want to spend. These tokens may be used to purchase all SNAP-eligible food items (e.g. meat, eggs, vegetables, canned goods, bakery items)
- Receive Food Bucks in a matching amount. Food Bucks & Crop Cash may be used to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables (e.g. lettuce, potatoes, melon, beets, etc.)
- For example, if you wanted to spend $40 in SNAP you would receive $40 in Food Bucks, totaling $80 to spend at the Indiana County Farmers’ Market.
Visit the Indiana County Farmers’ Market at S. 8th St. & Church St., Indiana, PA 15701 (S&T Bank Parking Lot) from 9AM – 12PM on Saturdays through October 31st.
