June 20 Community Health Day will feature:
Xeres Society for Invertebrate Conservation – Meet Stacey, a volunteer Xerces Ambassador, to learn more about: the critical importance of pollinators and how to protect them, monarch butterfly conservation, and how to support fireflies. Founded in 1971, Xerces promotes science-based conservation of invertebrates with special emphasis on pollinator conservation, endangered species conservation, and reducing pesticide use and impacts.
Adagio Health with Veteran Vouchers – Have you or has anyone in your household served in the military? You can receive up to $10 in Veteran Vouchers to purchase locally-sourced produce. These vouchers can ONLY be used at the Indiana County Farmers’ Market for fresh fruits and vegetables on certain days until allocated funds are depleted.

As always, the Info Booth will be open to match SNAP/EBT and WIC & Senior FMNP vouchers with special funds so you can bring home more fresh food…up to $25 per market visit. The Farmers’ Market takes place every Saturday.

We believe in SNAP! It provides our community members with monthly funds to shop for groceries, including at our farmers market. SNAP supports seniors, children, adults, students, and our local farmers.
