June 21 Community Health Day will feature:
Adagio Health with Veteran Vouchers – Have you or has anyone in your household served in the military? You can receive up to $20 in Veteran Vouchers to purchase locally-sourced produce. These vouchers can ONLY be used at the Indiana County Farmers’ Market for fresh fruits and vegetables on certain days until allocated funds are depleted.
Aging Services with Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Voucher Distribution – Seniors age 60+ who meet certain income guidelines are eligible for FMNP produce vouchers! Vouchers are matched with extra Market Money at the Indiana County Farmers’ Market so you can bring home fresh, local food for free!
Penn State Extension’s April Miller – a Food, Families and Communities Educator – April Miller is a Registered Dietician and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist. Visit April’s booth to learn about preparing nutritious foods using fresh ingredients.

As always, the Info Booth will be open to match SNAP/EBT and WIC & Senior FMNP vouchers with special funds so you can bring home more fresh food…up to $20 per market visit. The Farmers’ Market takes place every Saturday.

We believe in SNAP! It provides our community members with monthly funds to shop for groceries, including at our farmers market. SNAP supports seniors, children, adults, students, and our local farmers.
